«Bastion-2»
The Bastion-2 APCS is designed to integrate the following subsystems into a single security system:
- video surveillance and/or video recording;
- fire alarm systems (FAS);
- perimeter security systems;
- security lighting systems;
- access control and management systems (ACMS);
- process control systems.
The Bastion-2 APCS allows you to create a unified security system for an object, with the ability to unify monitoring, manage subsystems and automatically interconnect them.
The Bastion-2 APCS has a distributed architecture, which allows it to be used equally effectively at objects of different sizes - from small offices to large enterprises with a developed branch network.
The Bastion-2 APCS allows you to combine security systems at geographically remote objects, providing centralized event monitoring, device management, remote video surveillance, as well as synchronization of data on electronic passes between objects (branches) of one enterprise and management of personal data of employees.
The Bastion-2 APCS can be used as part of an enterprise management system, integrating into the company's information environment. The technologies used allow for integration with personnel and accounting systems, and use of these systems in situation centers and other third-party management systems.
Several geographically distributed objects with the Bastion 2 APCS can be combined using the Bastion-2 - Replication and Bastion-2 - Central Monitoring Station systems. In this case, each object works with its own Bastion-2 APCS database.
General structure of the Bastion-2 APCS system
The Bastion-2 APCS computer network includes the following functional units:
Database server (DB). All information about the system configuration is stored here. There is always one DB server for the entire complex. This computer must operate around the clock, since access to the database is necessary for the operation of all subsystems of the complex.
System server - one per system. Performs functions of checking licenses, managing execution of scripts and reactions to events and a number of other system functions.
Hardware servers – one or more computers (not limited by software) to which security subsystems are connected. The number of drivers served by each hardware server is limited only by the performance of this server.
Client workstations. An unlimited number of workstations without connected equipment.
DBMS used in the Bastion-2 APCS
The Bastion-2 APCS supports work with the Oracle and PostgreSQL DBMS. A separate distribution kit of the Bastion-2 APCS is released for each DBMS. The functional versions are identical or very close, there are no differences in price between the Bastion-2 APCS versions for Oracle and for PostgreSQL. The same set of modules (the same HASP key) can be used with both the Oracle version and the PostgreSQL version.
